Each year
in early March, the Center for Food Safety hosts an annual meeting
near the Atlanta airport for 180 to 200 registrants. The 1.5 day
meeting provides an opportunity to summarize the latest information
on food safety research being conducted by CFS members and scientists
from the Centers for Disease Control, FDA, USDA and other organizations.
Attendance is by invitation only but the audience is primarily
composed of members from the food industry. Their attendance provides
valuable insight to CFS members about the current problems and
concerns in the industry.
